Pellegrini names a legit Starting XI for @MCFC against @SwansOfficial. I expect #MCFC to win on the trot on the road today over #Swans.

So far @SwansOfficial actually look the better side but are forced to make a change less than 10 minutes into their match against @MCFC

Less than 10 minutes into the match @SwansOfficial are forced to replace @phernandez19 with Roland Lamah against @MCFC.

@fernaoficial pounds home the second ball off a corner kick to put @MCFC up 1-0 over @SwansOfficial.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Not a fan of @MCFC taking short corners against @SwansOfficial given their height advantage.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Impressive counter-attack by @SwansOfficial but De Guzmán rushed his shot, which was easily gobbled up by @MCFC goalkeeper Joe Hart.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Navas continues to torment @SwansOfficial down the right side, resulted in corner kicks for @MCFC so far, but expect it to net goals soon.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Correct call by ref Phil Dowd not calling a handball on @VincentKompany of @MCFC that would have resulted in a PK for @SwansOfficial.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Close call but looks like @SwansOfficial were just off-sides otherwise they would have tied it 1-1 against @MCFC right before the half.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Wilfried Bony heads home a cross to tie @MCFC & @SwansOfficial at 1-1. Replay shows Wilfried might have been slightly off.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
@MCFC looked the better side in the first half even though they are tied 1-1 against @SwansOfficial. Should be a very interesting final 45.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Driving rain is making the conditions worse for the 2nd half between @MCFC & @SwansOfficial, will be interesting to see if pitch holds up.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
@Kolarov13A looks a little tentative & just gave away a free kick in a dangerous area, @MCFC might want to replace him with Clichy.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Of course it is @Toure_yaya42 that puts @MCFC back up 2-1 over @SwansOfficial.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Unless @_AlvaroNegredo_ is injured, replacing him with @javigarcia06 for @MCFC against @SwansOfficial makes no sense.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Nugget alert from @OptaJoe that @Toure_yaya42 is the first @MCFC central midfielder to score 10 goals in an #EPL season for #MCFC.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
I retract what I said about subbing @Kolarov13A out after his nicked shot found the back of the net to put @MCFC up 3-1 over @SwansOfficial.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Fine w/@MCFC bringing on Milner in place of @SamNasri19 against @SwansOfficial especially since it looks like Masri hurt his left hamstring
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
@MCFC shifted from a 4-4-2 to a 4-5-1 after adding @javigarcia06 & Milner in place of @_AlvaroNegredo_ & @SamNasri19 v. @SwansOfficial.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Jesus Navas makes way for @JackRodwell to give him a rare first team appearance for @MCFC.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Oh my, @MCFC give up a goal to Wilfried as @SwansOfficial pull within a goal at 3-2 in stoppage time.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
Cheapie yellow cards for @SamNasri19 @EdDzeko @VincentKompany @pablo_zabaleta & Milner for @MCFC today against @SwansOfficial.

@MCFC notch their 4th road league win in 10 matches to temporarily jump @Arsenal to lead @premierleague pending #AFCvCCFC.
— CheeseheadSportsNut (@CheeseheadSN) January 1, 2014
With 10 home & 10 road @premierleague matches in the books for @MCFC they earned 30 points at home but just 14 points on the road. #MCFC

As my last Tweet explains, Man City have been great at home netting 30 of a possible 30 points but have stumbled a bit on the road netting only 14 of a possible 30 points. Thanks to their win over Swansea, Man City temporarily go to the top of the table pending the outcome of Arsenal's match later this afternoon against Cardiff City.
Make sure to check back later today for my updated Man City player rankings and commentary as the January transfer window opens.
